The BACK UP LINE cord has been specially designed for hoisting, rappelling and hauling in rescue situations. Compact and thin, its sheath is rough for a perfect grip and easy control in all circumstances.

Light and static cord
The aramid and polyamide used in the design of this cord makes it ultra-light: only 21g/m. But also ultra-static. Since the BACK UP LINE does not absorb energy at all, it should not be used for roping, progressing or any situation requiring dynamic qualities.
