• UK Delivery Times:

All in-stock items are dispatched the same day if ordered before 3 PM on weekdays. Delivery times depend on the shipping method chosen.

• Qualifications:

Orders placed on our website with a value in excess of £55 will be sent out carriage-free to UK mainland destinations.* Orders over £125 will qualify for free Express delivery to UK mainland destinations.

*Please note that Highlands & Islands often attract additional postal charges or require additional days for delivery. In these cases, we will send a quote before dispatching any orders for your consideration. You are welcome to cancel the order at any time before dispatch if the delivery period or quoted shipping is not satisfactory.

• Standard Delivery:

 The current method employed is Royal Mail 48 Tracked and is free on orders over £55; otherwise, it attracts a fixed standard rate of £3.95. Shipping times are typically 2-4 working days. There is no guarantee.

• Express Delivery:

 The current method employed is Royal Mail 24 Tracked. This option will normally get your goods to you in 1-2 working days but is not guaranteed despite the name. This service costs £5 and is free for orders over £125.

• Next Day Delivery:

 This can only be applied from Monday 00:00 through to Thursday 15:00. Any orders made after this time will be dispatched Friday or Monday to arrive Monday or Tuesday, respectively. If you require a Saturday delivery, we are happy to oblige, but this normally attracts a premium (dependent on the size and weight of the order). Please contact us, and we will be happy to quote you.
Please note: There is no next day delivery available for the Highlands and Islands. If you are ordering from the Highlands or Islands and request next day delivery, it will usually be a 48-hour service. This service costs £8.

• Getting an International Quote or Making an Order: The quickest way to make an international order is to purchase the items you want and complete the payment process using PayPal, Apple/Google Pay, or a Credit/Debit card. We will then weigh and measure the parcel and get a quote from each of our affiliate couriers to find you the cheapest price that safely covers your order. We will send you an invoice for the cost of postage.

If you want to know prices for shipping before making an order, please email orders@v12outdoor.com with a comprehensive list, and we will try to get back to you within 24 hours with a quote. In the list, please include relevant variations so we can get the most accurate quote and check our current stock. If you live in a remote area of your country, then please include your postal or zip code.

If you are happy with the quote we give you for shipping, please place your order and add a note referring to the shipping quote email. We will then send an invoice for the required postage costs to be paid before dispatch.

• International Delivery Times & Procedure:

 Depending on the service used, delivery typically takes 5 to 7 days for European destinations and 3 to 14 days for the rest of the world. For packages under 2 kilograms, we mainly use Royal Mail with a Tracked and Signed service. Anything over 2 kilograms will require another courier, depending on where you are in the world. If you prefer a specific courier, please let us know, and we will get you a quote from them. You are under no obligation to purchase the items.

• International Fees & Taxes:

 All orders leaving the UK will not be charged UK VAT and will incur import fees. These import fees and taxes will vary depending on the destination and category of product. We suggest that you familiarize yourself with the relevant local rates before ordering outside of the UK. We are not responsible for any additional charges incurred on export and import.

Please note: Upon receiving an international order, if you do not agree with the charges, we will not accept a return for a full refund if the order fees and taxes go unpaid or unclaimed. V12 will apply an admin fee to cover our export time and unsettled costs. However, you will be within your rights to return items, at your own cost, once fees and taxes have been settled.

• Stock:

 We aim to accurately display available stock on our website and only allow purchases of items we have in stock and can immediately dispatch unless specifically stated on the product. However, there is a short syncing period between in-store sales and website stock updates, or items sometimes go missing or get mis-sold. In these cases, we will contact you to let you know why we cannot fulfill your order and when you can expect it. At that point, you are free to cancel your order.

• Ordering Shoes and Boots:

 If you are not completely certain of your size when ordering boots or shoes, it is often more economical to order several sizes of the same shoe so that you do not incur additional postage costs when attempting to exchange. This way, your order will almost certainly qualify for free postage (over £125 to mainland UK), and you can simply send back the sizes that did not fit for a full refund.

• Shipping Bouldering Mats and Bulky Items:

 Bouldering mats cannot be sent on a Next Day Service, as Parcel Force 48 is the only affordable option available to us. Orders to Highlands and Islands, including Northern Ireland, will attract an extra charge. We will get in touch and let you know how much this is after receiving your order, as it is subject to change. We will aim to keep this as low as possible, but it can be very expensive.

• Out of Stock & Pre-Order Items:

 If you order an item that is ‘Out of Stock’ or available on a pre-order basis, we will email you on the next working day after receiving your order and inform you of the expected delivery date. If the expected delivery date is not suitable, you can cancel your order with no obligation. If you have paid for any premium postage options, this will be refunded to you if we cannot get the goods to you in the stated times.

• Bladed Items for delivery:

To comply with UK laws, we're required to check the age of customers purchasing bladed equipment, including ice axes, rope knifes, spare picks etc. It is illegal to sell these items to anyone under 18, so we may ask for valid photo identification at the point of sale. For online orders, customers will also need to provide ID upon delivery to verify their age. This policy helps ensure responsible retail practices and promotes safety. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Sadly this service costs us extra, on top of already high shipping costs so we have to pass on a bit of that bill.
