TENDON Static 10.0 is a static rope with low elongation and high static strength, designed above all for work at height and for securing people above open space. As a type A rope it suits activities at height and over a drop, for example rescue and caving.

Features

• A tracer tape runs inside the rope along its whole length and carries the manufacturer's mark, the rope type, the standard number, the year of manufacture and the material the rope is made from.
• Storage and service life: the maximum storage time for an unused rope is up to 5 years, plus a service life of up to 10 years. The actual service life depends on how often and how intensively you use it. External influences and mechanical loading gradually reduce both the static and the dynamic performance of a static rope.
• Inspection: the rope must be inspected at least once a year by the manufacturer or by a person authorised by the manufacturer, and the inspection must be recorded on its record card. Check the rope before every use and, if you have any doubts about its safety, take it out of service immediately.
