G12 LT

G12 LT is a lightweight 12-point steel crampon for classical and technical mountaineering.

The 12-point configuration provides stable traction across snow, ice, and mixed terrain, supporting secure movement in varied alpine conditions.

LT construction reduces overall weight through optimised material thickness, maintaining durability for repeated use.

Proactive Antibott front and rear reduces snow build-up during use.

Grivel Crampon System (G.C.S.) enables interchangeable components for precise configuration. Compatible parts and accessories available separately.

Which one?

New Classic: Soft straps front and back with a flex bar for soft boots and easier terrain. Should work on any boot, just make sure it's got enough support for the increased risk of turning ankles. 

New Matic: Heel clip and soft front basket for B2 boots that have a hard plastic heel welt and mostly stiff sole. Great allrounders for most winter terrain.

Cramp-O-Matic: Heel clip and metal bar front bail for fully ridged boots that have plastic welts front and back. Better on steeper ground and a more ridged fit.

Dual T-matic: Heel clip with a modular front that can be both the New-matic and Cram-o-matic. Best if you have multiple boots or wish to progress into B3's from B2's in the next 10 years (Crampons tend to last a long time)
