A detachable abseil system that allows abseiling when only a single length of rope is available. Beal's innovative, and scary looking, abseil system, The 'escaper' lets you retrieve a single rope abseil. Perfect if you're saving weight, or want to abseil twice as far on your single rope.

We strongly advise familiarizing yourself with its use before your first outing. It works with all ropes with a diameter greater than 7.3mm.
