This is the 2016 edition of Climbing Without Frontiers covering Istria, the peninsula of northern Croatia on the Adriatic coast. The crags covered include Slovenian and Italian territories.
The guidebook is in German and English, as well as the three local languages of Italian, Slovenian and Croatian. Drawn and photo-topos across a wide range of grades, on quality rock.
The guidebook is split into the three main climbing areas of the seaside region of Sistiana in the Gulf of Trieste; over Osp and Crni Kal towards the hinterland of Istria; and to the walls of Vranjska Draga at the foothills of Ucka, reaching the eastern coast at Brsec. In total 31 climbing areas are covered with more than 2,800 routes.
