Grivel
Air Tech
Air Tech
Technical 12-point crampon, suitable for routes with rock and ice.
Air Tech, one of Grivel's spearheads, has been designed for ascents with both rock and ice. It has 12 short steel points, 8 of which are front and 4 rear. The position of the points is designed to keep the foot steady during ascents, descents and traverses. It adapts to any type of boot thanks to the regulation bar in the middle and to the several binding systems, Cramp-O-Matic EVO, New-Matic EVO, New-Classic EVO and the new Dual Matic EVO. Equipped with the famous Grivel proactive Antibott both in the front and the rear. Easy to store in the backpack and not bulky. Perfect adherence, excellent companion for activities in the mountains.
Important Note. The Evo model has a few changes over the previous version:
- New heel lever is lighter and has only one moving part (as opposed to five) but still adjusts to all suitable boots.
- The webbing tape is narrower (12mm as opposed to 14mm) and lighter.
- The buckle has been redesigned to be lighter and more compact but still give a strong hold.
The New-Classic EVO comes equipped with a flex bar
